MTA Bridges and Tunnels MWBE/Small Business Solicitations
A new NYS law requires the MTA to promote and assist participation of MWBE firms and Small Businesses in State-funded procurements. In order to qualify, businesses must be certified by the NYS Empire State Development Corporation, or qualify as a small business under the NYS Finance Law.
Solicitation documents shall be obtained from the TBTA. Any bid or proposal submitted by a firm who did not obtain the solicitation documents from TBTA will be deemed non-responsive and not be eligible for award.
