The Metropolitan Transportation Authority and MTA Capital Construction are building a new Fulton Street Transit Center in the general vicinity of Fulton Street and Broadway, incorporating six existing Lower Manhattan subway stations: Fulton St The FSTC project will improve access to and connections between 12 subway lines for hundreds of thousands of daily commuters and Lower Manhattan residents and visitors, and will link NYC Transit facilities with PATH service and the World Trade Center site. Construction of the Fulton Street Transit Center is underway and parts of the new station have already been opened for customer use. MTA is currently carrying out a review of costs and design goals for this project, while continuing construction on key elements.

Now Open - - A new entrance to the Southbound Lexington Avenue line platform will has opened at the corner of Broadway and Cortlandt Street. Customers with origins or destinations south of Cortlandt St/Maiden Lane can now save time by entering at the south end of the station on either platform, rather than enter or exit at Dey St/John St |
