N24 Service Changes

N24 Customers
Effective Sunday, June 28, 2009

 
To provide faster, more reliable, and more direct service, the N24 travel path will be revised at the Roosevelt Field Mall, in Mineola, and in Uniondale.
   
• The N24 will access the Roosevelt Field Mall via Old Country Road and Ring Road West to and from Jamaica instead of using East Gate Boulevard and Zeckendorf Boulevard in both directions.
  N24 service will be discontinued to the following bus stops:
  - East Gate Blvd & Old Country Rd
- East Gate Blvd & North Av/Verizon
- East Gate Blvd & Zeckendorf Blvd
  N24 customers can access these bus stops by transferring at the Roosevelt Field Mall for the N22, N27, N78 or N79, which will continue to serve these bus stops.

•

 In Mineola, the eastbound N24 will enter the Mineola Intermodal Center by directly using 3rd Street instead of Old Country Road. Bus stops in Mineola will remain unchanged.
• In Uniondale, eastbound N24 trips to East Meadow will no longer enter the 60 Charles Lindbergh Building loop. These trips will instead use an adjacent bus stop across the street on Charles Lindbergh Boulevard East at Westbury Boulevard. All eastbound N24 trips to Mitchel Field will continue to enter the 60 Charles Lindbergh Building loop. Westbound N24 bus stops will remain unchanged.

Para brindar un servicio más rápido, confiable y directo, el recorrido del N24 será modificado en Roosevelt Field Mall, en Mineola y en Uniondale.
   
• El N24 accederá a Roosevelt Field Mall a través de Old Country Road y Ring Road West hacia y desde Jamaica, en lugar de usar East Gate Boulevard y Zeckendorf Boulevard en ambas direcciones.
  El servicio del N24 se cancelará en las siguientes paradas de autobús:
  - East Gate Blvd y Old Country Rd
- East Gate Blvd y North Av/Verizon
- East Gate Blvd y Zeckendorf Blvd
  Los usuarios del N24 pueden acceder a estas paradas de autobús mediante transbordos en Roosevelt Field Mall para tomar el N22, el N27, el N78 o el N79, que continuarán operando en estas paradas de autobús.
• En Mineola, el N24 en dirección este entrará en Mineola Intermodal Center usando directamente 3rd Street, en lugar de Old Country Road. Las paradas de autobús en Mineola no sufrirán modificaciones.
• En Uniondale, el N24 en dirección este con destino a East Meadow ya no entrará en la curva de 60 Charles Lindbergh Building.
