All LI Bus routes operate with wheelchair lift-equipped buses, and
we are committed to this important service capability. An aide traveling
with and assisting a wheelchair customer may also ride at half-fare
without an identification card. For individuals requiring paratransit
services, please contact Able-Ride at (516) 228-4000.
Guide
and Service Animals
Customers with visual, hearing or physical impairments may bring their
guide or service animals on LI Bus buses. These animals must be securely
leashed for the safety of all customers.
