The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and LIRR will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on proposed improvements in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

As part of the EIS process, informational meetings will provide opportunity for public review and comment.
