New York National Boat Show

The MTA Long Island Rail Road invites area sailors to help celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the New York National Boat Show with a discount package that includes savings of up to 32% on train fare and admission to the Boat Show. The LIRR Boat Show package is $23 for adults in Zones 1-12, $30 for adults in Zone 14. It's available from all open ticket offices and from blue and grey ticket machines.

Monthly and weekly ticket holders can show their tickets at the Penn Station LIRR Ticket Office and receive a discount voucher for the Boat Show, a savings of four dollars on the regular adult admission ticket. The Boat Show is at the Jacob Javits Convention Center at 34th Street and 11th Avenue. A free shuttle bus will leave approximately every half hour from the northwest corner of 7th Avenue and 31st Street starting one hour before the show opens and will return every half hour up until one hour after closing.

Boat Show hours are as follows: Saturday, December 29, 10 AM-8 PM; Sunday, December 30, 10 AM-5 PM; Monday, December 31, closed; Tuesday-Friday, January 1-January 4, Noon-8 PM; Saturday, January 5, 10 AM-8PM; Sunday, January 6, 10 AM-5PM.
