Patchogue Sea Fair June 6-8

MTA LIRR Shouts “Ahoy Mateys” All Ashore for the Patchogue Sea Fair on June 6th through 8th with Special Discounts and Coupons

MTA Long Island Rail Road is shouting “all ashore” and take advantage of a discount package combined with coupons to the Fifth Annual Patchogue Sea Fair River Festival on Friday, June 6th through Sunday, June 8th.

The Sea Fair is a grand celebration intended to welcome people to the Patchogue riverfront and to learn about the South Shore’s maritime history.  The three-day event, which had about 15,000 attend last year, has a full schedule of recreational and educational activities with:

• Live music
• Delicious food from land and sea
• Arts and crafts vendors
• Carnival rides
• Live pirate show and treasure hunt
• Lectures by Fire Island National Preserve rangers
• Children’s programs hosted by the YMCA

The LIRR’s special discount package for the Sea Fair is part of the Railroad’s partnering with the Long Island Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to promote major community and tourist events on the Island.  The Patchogue train station is in the heart of most of the festivities. The Sea Fair is Friday, 3 PM to 9 PM and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 PM.

The new LIRR Patchogue Village package includes discounted round-trip rail from New York City zone stations (Penn Station, Woodside, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Jamaica and Flatbush Avenue) to and from Patchogue plus a “LIRR Patchogue Customer Coupon” worth $10.   The tickets are $20 for adults and $11.50 for children ages 5 to 11. At the fair, present the discount coupons for $10 off any food, beverage or ride ticket purchases of $10 or more.

On non-Fair days the $10 coupon will be good for any food or beverage purchases of $10 or more at the following participating restaurants:  Bobbique, Brickhouse, Country Kitchen, Del Fiore Pizza Co., Gallo Tropical, Lawan’s Authentic Thai, Mangia Mangia, Pera Bell, Dragon & Phoenix Chinese, Ralph’s Italian Ices, Hazy Moon Sushi & Seafood,  Harbor Crab, Once & For All and the new Off Key Tikki Beach Bar at West Bank Marina.

Customers can pick up a copy of the Montauk Branch timetable for the most convenient trains leaving Penn Station, Woodside, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Jamaica and Flatbush Avenue.
