New Tanger Deer Park Package
Includes Travel And Coupon Savings For "Tanger At The Arches"
There's a new shoppers haven on Long Island and the MTA Long Island Rail Road is the best way to get there. The LIRR's "Tanger Deer Park Package" includes a round-trip rail ticket, a bus shuttle to and from the Deer Park Station to the Center and a voucher for a coupon book worth hundreds of dollars in savings. The "Tanger at the Arches" Center in Deer Park includes stores with the latest brand name fashions, to home décor, books, music CDs, outdoor gear, toys and much more. There's even a multiplex theater and food court. "Tanger at the Arches" has its grand opening Thursday, October 23.

The LIRR's "Tanger Deer Park Package" ticket is available at ticket offices or from gray or blue "Tickets" machines by selecting the "Getaways & Packages" button. The "Tanger Deer Park Package" ticket cannot be purchased on-board trains. Up to four children, ages 5-11, may accompany each adult for $1.50 roundtrip ($2 on board). Children under 5 ride free (when accompanied by an adult).
The special shuttle bus operated by Tanger will meet trains at the east end of the north platform. Customers using the south platform are advised to use the overpass just west of the station building rather than the street-level grade crossing. Mobility impaired customers, including those in wheelchairs, should use the ramp access to street level, and then proceed to the shuttle bus location.
