Motorcycle Show January 16 - 18

Take the easy ride and get an early start to the celebration of all things cycle. The MTA Long Island Rail Road is the best route to the 2009 Cycleworld International Motorcycle Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The LIRR’s new discount package, at a savings of up to 35%, includes admission to the Motorcycle Show and off-peak round-trip train fare.

The LIRR discount package costs $26.50 for adults traveling from LIRR stations in Fare Zones 1-12; $31 for adults boarding at LIRR stations in Fare Zone 14; and $7.50 for children (5-11). Tickets can be purchased at staffed LIRR Ticket Windows and at gray, Full-Service Ticket Machines or blue, credit/debit only Ticket Machines. Select the “Getaways & Packages” button on the first screen to get started with your purchase.

Motorcycle enthusiasts will be eager to see the world debut of the Honda Fury - a 1300cc Hybrid – and Victory Concept's CORE - a reduction of the motorcycle to its most pure form using some of the latest production technology.

The show runs from January 16-18. Show hours are:
Friday, January 16: Noon - 9 PM
Saturday, January 17: 9 AM - 9 PM
Sunday, January 18: 9:30 AM- 5 PM

The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center is located at 34-39 St. and 11th Avenue and can be reached by walking from the Penn Station 34th Street entrance and going west to 11th Avenue or using the M34 bus westbound from the corner of 34th Street and 8th Avenue.
