Meadowlands Ticket to Springsteen Concert

For Long Island Rail Road customers heading to Bruce Springsteen’s concerts this week, the LIRR’s special “MEADOWLANDS TICKET” is the way to go. It’s a single-purchase, round-trip ticket that’s good for travel to and from The Boss’ show on both the LIRR and NJ Transit.

The price is a bargain too and without any worries about traffic or parking. You pay your regular round-trip fare to Penn Station, plus $7.75 for the round trip rides on NJ Transit to the Meadowlands. The Springsteen concerts are taking place on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9.

The LIRR urges customers to buy their “MEADOWLANDS TICKET” in advance at their home station to avoid the long lines that some recent concertgoers have faced. NJ Transit is expecting large crowds for all Springsteen shows and is advising customers to allow extra time since, with any major stadium event, it can take time to accommodate all customers. To ease congestion, NJ Transit will also operate bus service from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to the Meadowlands for all performances.

So Remember These Travel Tips:

Visit the LIRR’s “Take the Train to the Game” webpage (Meadowlands tickets are also available for Giants and Jets games) or the NJ Transit website for more information and links to train schedules.
