    Safe Rules of the Railroad
Your safety is our very first priority. Our train crews will keep you informed and assist you in any way necessary during an on-board emergency.
We listened to safety experts and our customers in designing our new passenger cars. You'll notice safety improvements throughout each bi-level coach, including slip-resistant flooring, handrails on the seats and in the vestibules, special seating areas for customers with wheelchairs or strollers, and luggage cubicles to keep train aisles clear. Look a little closer and you'll notice enhanced communication equipment on each car: electronic signs identify upcoming stations, emergency intercoms near each door allow passengers to contact crew members in another car, and on-board phones are available for customer use.

Bi-level coach stairways are equipped with handrails to help ensure your safety when boarding and disembarking trains.
Safe Rules of the Railroad

Because the bi-level coaches have stairways, customers should always try to have one hand free in order to grip the handrails when moving through their car. Never sit or stand on the stairs, and please keep these and other walking areas clear of luggage. Customers should also be aware that the head clearance under our overhead luggage racks has been reduced.
