When the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) presented its highest honor the "1998 Outstanding Achievement Award," to the commuter railroad that has demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in efficiency and effectiveness, MTA Metro-North Railroad was proud to accept it!
Judges from the transportation industry based this award on-time performance, mechanical reliability, employee safety, customer service, as well as other service indicators.
During the past year, our employees have made great progress toward our goal of making this company a brand name for excellent customer service by the year 2003, our 20thanniversary. This award recognizes their hard work, dedication, and most of all, commitment to you, our customers.
