Pinstripe Bowl Battle:

Syracuse and West Virginia, Dec. 29 at Yankee Stadium

The Syracuse Orangemen face their former Big East rival, the West Virginia Mountaineers, on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Yankee Stadium; start time is 3:30 PM.

There is no better way than taking Metro-North's fast and convenient "Train to the Game" service to see this big time match-up! Train service is readily available from Grand Central Terminal as well as via the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven Lines.

This is the second Pinstripe Bowl in three years for the Orange, which is leaving the Big East to join the Atlantic Coast Conference next season; the Mountaineers bolted the Big East for the Big 12 prior to the 2012 season.

Syracuse leads the all-time series with West Virginia 32-27, winning the last two meetings after eight straightMountaineers wins. Before 2012, the two teams had met annually since 1955.
