Thank you for purchasing this package to a museum founded in a century-old train depot, filled with wonderful railroad artifacts and history.  Remember, this package is valid Saturdays and Sundays only.  The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.  Be sure to check the current New Haven Line schedule before your departure.

As you can see, you have received two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket (VALID FOR WEEKEND TRAVEL ONLY) and a special event ticket marked “DRAILM”.

To get to the Museum, take Metro-North’s New Haven Line to South Norwalk Station. Give the conductor your rail ticket to punch and give back to you. When you arrive at South Norwalk, you will have to transfer to another train to Danbury Station.  Again, give the conductor your rail ticket to punch and give back to you. Make sure to hold on to your rail ticket for your return trip home.

When you arrive at Danbury Station, exit the train and walk along the sidewalk that parallels the tracks. It will curve north to the old Danbury Railway Station.  (The walk is approximately three minutes).  The Museum is located at 120 White Street.

When you get to the Museum, present your special event ticket marked “DRAILM” to gain entrance.
