As you can see, you have received two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket (VALID FOR OFF-PEAK TRAVEL ONLY), and a special event ticket marked “DIA.”

To get to Dia:Beacon, take Metro-North’s Hudson Line to Beacon Station. Give the conductor your rail ticket to punch and give back to you.  Make sure to hold on to your rail ticket for your return trip home.

Dia:Beacon is just a short 5 to 10 minute walk from Metro-North’s Beacon Station: To get to the museum from the station, exit the platform on the riverside of the station. Cross the parking lot to Red Flynn Drive; turn left on Red Flynn Drive following the sidewalk across the railroad overpass.  Continue up Red Flynn Drive over the railroad tracks, then turn right and continue walking straight.  Dia:Beacon is the driveway on the right.

When you get to the museum, simply turn in your special event ticket marked “DIA”.
