When you arrive at the museum, redeem the portion of your special event ticket that reads “MUS NH” at any advance tickets sales location for a ticket to the space show, which also includes general admission to the 46 permanent halls of the museum and the spectacular Rose Center for Earth and Space. This ticket is not valid for ticketed special exhibitions or IMAX® films. Space shows run every half-hour from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. .

(Note: Museum members must present their membership card at a Metro-North ticket office when purchasing the package to receive the membership discount).

- ADMISSION: Discount admission to the American Museum of Natural History , Rose Center for Earth and Space, and Planetarium Space Show: adults, $23; students/seniors/disabled/individuals receiving Medicare, $17.50; children 2-12, $14; children under 2, free; AMNH member adults, $11.50; AMNH member children, $7.

Purchase your rail/admission ticket from any Metro-North ticket office or full-service ticket vending machine (excluding Grand Central) and through WebTicket.
Getting There
Address: Central Park West and 79th Street.
Take the Hudson, Harlem or New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal. From there take the following:
- Subway: Take the 42nd Street Shuttle (S) or the 7 train to Times Square. Transfer to the Uptown B or C train and take it to 81st Street - Museum of Natural History.
- Bus: Take the westbound M42 or M104 (located on 42nd Street, between Park and Vanderbilt Avenues). If you take the M42, transfer to the M10 at Eighth Avenue, and take it to 79th Street and Central Park West, where the museum is located. Or, take the M104 north to 79th Street and Broadway, then walk two blocks east to the museum.
