The New York Botanical Garden
Weekends Only
Through October 17,2010
The experience
A 250-acre National Historic Landmark site, The New York Botanical Garden is alive with the inspiring sights and sounds of nature throughout every season. Discover 50 breathtaking gardens, indoor rain forests and deserts, 50 acres of native forest, a river, ponds, waterfalls, and rolling green hills. All this and more-including guided tours and activities for the whole family-await you at America's premier garden.
Entrance to special exhibitions in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory requires a timed ticket. To receive your timed ticket, present your special event ticket that says "BOT GARDEN" at the Mosholu Gate entrance booth, located directly across the street from Metro-North's Botanical Garden Station. Select an entrance time. If that slot is full, you will be offered the closest entrance times, available in 15-minute intervals. Your separate timed ticket gives you complete access to the Garden before and after admission to the Conservatory.
For details on exhibitions, events, and educational programs offered at this urban oasis and magnificent museum of plants, call 718-817-8700 or visit www.nybg.org.
