Bronx Zoo The experience

During Boo at the Zoo (October 10-12, 17-18, 24-25 & October 31-November 1), celebrate a New York Halloween tradition! October weekends are packed with activities, including wildlife magic shows, pumpkin carving demonstrations, and haunted hayrides. Join us for the first ever Haunted Safari and be part of the journey to find the missing creature. Best of all, come visit with our bats, cats, and creepiest critters.

Activities include: Haunted Safari, Musical Performances, Wildlife Theater, Hay Maze, Scarecrow Adventure Hayride, Pumpkin-carving Demonstrations and Animal-themed Magic Shows.

Holiday events will be taking place during weekends in December and every day between December 26 and December 31. Events will include the following:

Live Reindeer: Visit with our herd of these remarkable arctic animals. Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides: Enjoy a nostalgic wagon ride drawn by the Zoo's magnificent Clydesdales. Wildlife Ice Sculptures: Experience the magic as blocks as ice are turned into exquisite, glistening animal statues. Presents to the Animals: Join our animals and their keepers for some special holiday-themed enrichment sessions.

Schedules and events are subject to change. For complete information about events, call 718-367-1010 or visit our website at www.bronxzoo.com.
