The experience
With more than a dozen changing exhibitions a year of art and science as well as permanent exhibition galleries geared for the entire family to enjoy, the Bruce Museum lives up to its name as the jewel of Greenwich, Connecticut. There is always something new to see at the Bruce Museum, which is conveniently located near Metro-North's Greenwich Station and a short block from shopping and dining excellence on famous Greenwich Avenue.
Some exhibitions include Walter Wick: Games, Gizmos, and Toys in the Attic: January 28 - April 22, 2012; Coming Full Circle: Greenwich Art Society Celebrates 100 Years at the Bruce Museum: February 11 - April 1, 2012; The Olympic Games: Art, Culture and Sport: May 12 - September 2, 2012; Churches of New England: June 30 - September 23, 2012; and Face and Figure: The Sculpture of Gaston Lachaise: September 22, 2012 - January 6, 2013. Hour-long, docent-led tours, held every Friday at 12:30 p.m., are free with admission.
The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is FREE on Tuesdays, therefore you need only purchase your rail ticket that day. For the latest events and exhibition information, call 203-869-6786 or visit www.brucemuseum.org.

- ADMISSION: Discount general admission to the museum. (Some exhibitions may require an additional fee): adults, $4.25; seniors, persons with disabilities, individuals receiving Medicare and children 5-11, $3; children under 5, free.
