With more than a dozen changing exhibitions a year of art and science as well as permanent exhibition galleries geared for the entire family to enjoy, the Bruce Museum lives up to its name as the jewel of Greenwich, Connecticut. There is always something new to see at the Bruce Museum, which is conveniently located near Metro-North's Greenwich Station and a short block from shopping and dining excellence on famous Greenwich Avenue.

The fall/winter 2009/2010 exhibitions at the Bruce Museum include: Alchemy: Magic, Myth or Science? (through January 3); Charles Addams: Cartoonist (through January 24); Alexander Calder: Printmaker (through January 31); Exotic Encounters: Art, Travel and Modernity in the Collection of the Bruce Museum (January 23-April 25); Writing the Earth: 2,000 Years of Geography and Mapping (January 30-May 30); Lincoln, Lifesize (February 12-June 6); and Eat or Be Eaten: Animal Survival Strategies (through November 28, 2010). The Museum is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is FREE on Tuesdays, therefore you need only purchase your rail ticket that day. For the latest events and exhibition information, call 203-869-6786 or visit www.brucemuseum.org.
