Make a day of it, and take TWO peeks into the past for the price of one. First, the 18th-century world of Philipsburg Manor offers hands-on activities in its manor house, working farm, and gristmill. Before you leave, fuel up with a tasty panini or coffee and dessert at the new Tastefully Yours Cafe at Phillipsburg Manor. Then it's on to "The Classic Tour" of the elegant estate, Kykuit, where you'll see not only the mansion that four generations of Rockefellers called home, but the subterranean art galleries, the Coach Barn with its collection of antique motor and horse-drawn equipment, and the magnificent gardens.

The Kykuit tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10. Strollers and backpacks must be checked at the Visitor Center prior to the tour.
