STORM KING KAYAKING The experience

Learn a bit of the history of Storm King Mountain while feasting on magnificent Hudson Valley views with an expert guide. You'll hike, bike, and kayak your way through a fabulous day on the river.

Safety is a priority of the guides who are trained and experienced in reading river and weather conditions, and trips do not go out unless conditions are safe. Each guide is certified in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and Lifeguarding.

Guided trips have the beginner in mind. Most excursions have two guides and can help those who need more assistance while others paddle on ahead. Paddlers should wear water shoes (sandals, old sneakers etc). Dress comfortably. Quick-drying clothes are the first choice, cotton clothes the last choice. Don't forget sunglasses, sunscreen and camera.
