The experience
The Hudson Highlands offers the most dramatic scenery of any point on the Hudson River, and this tour has all that and more. You will be met at Cold Spring Station by a West Point Tours guide and bus. During the 25 minute drive to West Point, your guide will regale you with the fascinating history of this part of the Valley, as well as intriguing tales about sites along the way.
Your one-hour tour of West Point includes the Main Cadet Chapel,Trophy Point, Battle Monument, and the Plain, with time for visits to the Visitors Center and the West Point Museum and Gift Shop. Then board the bus back to Cold Spring and spend the rest of the day browsing the antique stores and boutiques, and grabbing a meal at one of the village's cafes or restaurants. Cold Spring Station, where you'll catch the train back to New York City, is right at the foot of Main Street.
