Thank you for purchasing this package.  The lighthouse tower provides magnificent views of Long Island Sound and, on a clear day, of the New York City skyline.

IMPORTANT:  RAIL TICKETS ARE VALID FOR TRAVEL UP TO 30 DAYS INCLUDING DATE OF PURCHASE.

As you can see, you have received two tickets: a round-trip rail ticket, and a special event ticket marked “LIGHTHOUSE”.

To get to the Lighthouse, take Metro-North’s New Haven Line to South Norwalk Station. Give the conductor your rail ticket to punch and give back to you.  Make sure to hold on to your rail ticket for your return trip home.

Be sure to pick up a current New Haven Line timetable prior to departing Grand Central.

Once you disembark from the train, walk towards Monroe Street, make a right onto Monroe Street and walk past the police station.  This is the corner of South Main Street and Monroe Street.  Make a left onto South Main Street and walk two blocks until you arrive at Washington Street, the railroad bridge will be directly overhead.  Make a right onto Washington Street. Walk one block to the traffic light.  This is Water Street.  At the traffic light, cross over to the parking lot with the gazebo.  The Sheffield Island Ferry Dock is right there.

Tours depart the ferry dock at 11 AM, 2 PM and 3:30 PM.

Enjoy the day!
