The dock is located off Route 9W, north of the intersection at Riverside Avenue and Short Clove Road, at Dr. Girling Drive, in the Village of Haverstraw. It has convenient access from major roadways in Orange and Rockland counties (Palisades Interstate Parkway, US Route 202, Route 9W. See driving directions below.) - Or, take the free shuttle bus to the ferry that runs along Route 202. If you don't want to drive to the dock, there's also a free shuttle bus provided by the Rockland county department of public transportation and the NYS Department of transportation. The shuttle bus makes several scheduled stops along Route 202, between Mt. Ivy and route 9W. You can also flag it down at any safe spot along the route. One way fares are $3 for the ferry ($2.75 for seniors) and $9.75 for the rail ($4.75 for seniors /disabled). You can get a ten-trip ferry ticket for $27, and a weekly rail ticket for $68.
