The Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry takes you from a dock in Haverstraw right to Metro-North’s Ossining Station on the Hudson Line. This lets you enjoy fast, stress-free, reliable transportation and avoid traffic, tunnels, bridges, tolls and parking hassles.

The dock is located off Route 9W, north of the intersection at Riverside Avenue and Short Clove Road, at Dr. Girling Drive, in the Village of Haverstraw. It has convenient access from major roadways in Orange and Rockland counties (Palisades Interstate Parkway, US Route 202, Route 9W. See driving directions below.) - Or, take the free shuttle bus to the ferry that runs along Route 202. If you don't want to drive to the dock, there's also a free shuttle bus provided by the Rockland county department of public transportation and the NYS Department of transportation. The shuttle bus makes several scheduled stops along Route 202, between Mt. Ivy and route 9W. You can also flag it down at any safe spot along the route. GREAT PRICES: The best deal is a monthly UniTicket, which combines ferry and rail in one ticket, and is available at the discounted monthly rate of only $243 ($30 ferry, plus $213 rail). UniTickets can be purchased at Grand Central Terminal, Ossining Station, any other Metro-North ticket office, or ticket machine, through Metro-North's Mail&Ride (monthly ticket-by-mail program), or online through WebTicket.
One way fares are $3 for the ferry ($2.75 for seniors) and $9.75 for the rail ($4.75 for seniors /disabled). You can get a ten-trip ferry ticket for $27, and a weekly rail ticket for $68.
Please buy rail tickets before boarding train. Purchasing rail tickets on board train is always the most expensive option.
