One-way and Round-trip tickets are valid for travel 60 days (including day of travel). They can be refunded for 60 days from purchase date. They can also be Exchanged up to 24 hours from date of purchase.
If commutation tickets are submitted for refund before their expiration, the discount is forfeited, and we must deduct the proper combination of one-way and/or weekly fares for the period the ticket has been in the customer's possession. Details of refund regulations are contained in Metro-North's tariffs, which are available for review at any ticket office.
Should any questions arise as to proper fare and ticket privileges, please pay requested fare, obtain receipt, and communicate with us.
