Artist's Website

Dan Stevens is a solo blues artist whose style centers around the acoustic finger-picking tradition learned from Boston bluesman Paul Rishell and the late folk legend Dave Van Ronk,. with whom he studied in New York City. Stevens' repertoire includes soulful originals and many bottleneck slide tunes in the spirit of the legendary blues masters. Based in Old Lyme, Connecticut, he tours relentlessly throughout the Eastern United States, US Virgin Islands, England, and Germany. Dan was a finalist at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge 2008 on Beale Street in Memphis and was on National Public Radio's "Car Talk," CT Public Radio, Maine Public Radio, WGBH-Boston, XM Radio, and many others.
