Poet Bio

Billy Collins is the author of several books of poetry, including Horoscopes for the Dead (Random House, 2012) Ballistics (2008), The Trouble with Poetry (2005); Nine Horses (2002); and Sailing Alone Around the Room: New and Selected Poems (2001). He served as the Poet Laureate of the United States from 2001-2003 and the New York State Poet from 2004-2006.
