Kappock Street Exit Closure From Bronx-bound Henry Hudson Bridge Extended Until Wed., Aug. 29th

The Kappock Street exit from the Bronx-bound upper level of the Henry Hudson Bridge will remain closed to traffic until Wed., Aug. 29th for necessary construction work.

The work is being extended a few days as contractors continue excavating an old walkway and rehabilitating a 1930s-era drain.

Motorists should continue following signs to the detour at 232nd Street.

Bronx-Whitestone Bridge 15-Minute Full Bridge Closure Scheduled Overnight Wed., Aug. 22nd and Thurs. Aug. 23rd

The Bronx-Whitestone Bridge will be closed in both directions for approximately 15 minutes between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on both Wednesday, Aug. 22nd and Thursday Aug. 23rd while overhead sign structures are installed. All work is dependent on good weather.

Motorists are advised to expect delays. The Throgs Neck Bridge may be used as an alternate route.

Kappock Street Exit From Bronx-bound Henry Hudson Bridge Closed For Two Weeks Beginning Mon., Aug. 13th

The Kappock Street exit from the Bronx-bound upper level of the Henry Hudson Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, Aug. 13th through Friday, Aug. 24th.

The exit is being closed for about two weeks to perform necessary drainage and other roadway work. Motorists are asked to follow posted detour signs.

SPECIAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge One Lane Closed In Each Direction On Saturdays Beginning July 28th

One lane will be closed in each direction most Saturdays at the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge for work related to the $17 million project to rehabilitate the concrete piers beneath the bridge.

The Saturday lane closures, which begin July 28th, will take place between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. and continue through November. One lane in each direction had previously been closed on weekdays, between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to accommodate equipment being used as part of the repair work, and will continue through November as well.

SPECIAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY^Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge Two Lanes Into Broad Channel Closed Beginning July 23rd

Beginning Mon., July 23rd two north-bound lanes heading into Broad Channel on the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge will be closed during daytime hours as part of the $13.2 million, 26-month project to rehabilitate the bridge's concrete piers.

The closures will be in place Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The work is weather dependent and is expected to take at least four weeks to complete.

Robert F. Kennedy Bridge's Harlem Lift Span Closure: Tuesday 7/17, 20-min. Closure at 3 PM

Motorists are advised that Robert F. Kennedy Bridge's Harlem River (Manhattan) Lift Span will be closed to all traffic in both directions during the following approximate time on Tuesday, July 17th, for crossing marine traffic:

Tuesday, 7/17/12: At approximately 3 PM vehicular traffic halted for 20 minutes.

Bronx-Queens-bound drivers should take the Willis Ave. Bridge; Manhattan-bound drivers should take 3rd Ave. Bridge as alternates.

Two Lanes Closed In Each Direction At Bronx-Whitestone Bridge Mon., July 9th Into Tues., July 10th

Two lanes will be closed in each direction overnight tonight (Monday) into Tuesday morning at the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge.

Motorists should expect delays and use the Throgs Neck Bridge or Robert F. Kennedy Bridge as an alternate.

New Last Exit Before Brooklyn-bound Verrazano-Narrows Bridge In Place Beginning Mon., July 9th

Motorists driving on the Staten Island Expressway who want to exit before reaching the Brooklyn-bound Verrazano-Narrows Bridge will have to use the New York State Department of Transportation's new Fingerboard Road/Lily Pond Exit 15 off the expressway beginning Monday, July 9th.

The old last exit before the bridge heading eastbound is being permanently closed after the morning traffic rush on Monday as part of the State's Staten Island Expressway improvement project.

SPECIAL TRAFFIC ADVISORY

There will be several full, intermittent bridge closures of up to 40 minutes at the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge on two overnights next week for necessary inspection and maintenance of the lift span.

The work requires four closures with each lasting between 30-40 minutes. They will begin at 10 p.m. Tues., July 10th until 5 a.m. on Wed., July 11th. The same intermittent closures will take place the following night, Wed., July 11th through Thurs., July 12th between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
