Employee Lost Time and Restricted Duty Rate is the number of job related lost time or restricted duty injuries and illnesses per 100 workers. An employee lost time injury or illness is one that prevents an employee from returning to work for at least one full shift. A restricted duty injury is one that prevents an employee from performing the full range of job activities.
