John J. Molloy

John Molloy is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of the H2M Companies, which includes: Holzmacher, McLendon & Murrell, H2M Associates, and H2M Architects and Engineers. H2M has offices in New York and New Jersey. Molloy retaines his position as chairman with H2M Labs, Inc., an independent environmental testing laboratory located in Melville, NY.
He was responsible for corporate management, including administration, finance, staffing, budgeting, planning and development, and marketing. In his professional capacity with Holzmacher, McLendon & Murrell, he directed engineering projects for a wide array of the firm’s clients. His experience includes all phases of project engineering and management including feasibility studies, pilot studies, planning studies, cost estimating, design services and construction management. Mr. Molloy has provided professional services to government and industrial clients covering most spheres of environmental engineering, air pollution control; water and wastewater; and, solid and hazardous waste management.
Molloy is a graduate of Manhattan College with a B.E. (Chemical Engineering) and is a licensed Professional Engineer (New York). He has been active in many professional organizations and served as member of the executive committee of A CIT- Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology, was chairman of the board of the American Council of Independent Laboratories, and a member of the foundation board of Farmingdale State College, among many others.
Molloy and his wife Janet were both born and raised in New York City and have resided in Wantagh on Long Island for the past thirty years. He is a long-term member of the Melville Rotary Club and is a past president and current board member. He and his wife have two married daughters and three grandchildren.
