7 Rider Report Card Grades Are In

The results of MTA NYC Transit's first-ever Rider Report Card are in, and riders who graded the 7 line on 21 separate service attributes have judged that the service needs improvement by giving the Flushing Line an overall grade of C-.

MTA New York City Transit Begins Bus Service Between Staten Island and New Jersey

First Interstate NYC Transit Route to Start September 4th

The MTA reaffirmed its commitment to improving transportation options for Staten Islanders and creating a more seamless transportation experience today when it announced that a direct bus service to the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail line in Bayonne, New Jersey will begin Tuesday, September 4th.

Rider Report Card Next Stop Canarsie L Line

Second Line To Be Graded By Riders

Following a successful distribution of more than 88,000 of the first-ever Rider Report Card to riders who use the 7 Flushing Line, Canarsie L Line customers will have the opportunity to grade their subway line beginning Wednesday, August 15th. NYC Transit staff will be on hand to distribute the Rider Report Cards at stations along the line during morning rush hours through Friday August 17th.

Manhattan-Bound Side of the Mosholu Parkway Station 4 Will Close for Three Months While Under Rehabilitation

MTA NYC Transit announces the ongoing $55 million construction project to reconstruct and rehabilitate five stations along the Jerome Avenue 4 line has come to the Manhattan-bound (southbound) side of the Mosholu Parkway station. In order to perform this vital work, the station will be closed beginning 5 a.m. Monday, August 13 until mid-November, 2007. Our goal is to bring five stations -- Burnside Avenue, 183rd Street, Kingsbridge Road, Bedford Park Boulevard and Mosholu Parkway -- to a state of good repair.
