Queens-bound Rockaway Blvd A Line Station To Close for Four Months for Renewal

Beginning 5:00 a.m., Monday, February 9 until May 2015, MTA New York City Transit will close the Queens-bound Rockaway Blvd station, as part of an ongoing $39 million capital project at five stations along the A Subway Line Icon line on Liberty Avenue in Ozone Park: 80 St-Hudson Street, 88 St-Boyd Avenue, Rockaway Boulevard, 104 St-Oxford Avenue and 111 St-Greenwood Avenue.

MTA New York City Transit Service Advisory: Update on 7 Flushing Line

Due to an ice condition on the third rail, MTA New York City Transit is currently only running a limited shuttle service on the 7 Subway Line Icon line between Flushing-Main Street and 74 St-Broadway in both directions. Shuttle buses are currently running between Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and 74 St-Broadway in both directions.

Final Phase of 104 St and 88 St A Line Station Renewals Completed

Beginning at 5:00 a.m., Monday, February 2, A Subway Line Icon Line customers will once again have access to the Manhattan-bound sides of the 104 St and 88 St stations along the Liberty Avenue Line in Queens. The five-month station renewal project is part of a major $39 million capital project that will see the complete renewal of five stations along the Liberty Avenue A Subway Line Icon Line.

Service Advisory: NYCT Subways, Buses and Staten Island Railway to Run Regular Weekday Service on Wednesday, January 28

As of Tuesday afternoon, January 27, New York City Transit subways, buses and Staten Island Railway are operating on a Sunday service schedule on all lines. Bus managers will continue to adjust service levels based on ridership and road conditions. Customers are encouraged to check alert.mta.info for the latest updates on specific bus routes. MTA personnel are continuing to remove snow from station platforms and staircases, but customers should use extreme caution when navigating throughout the system.
