Long Island’s warm weather possibilities are plentiful and LIRR has your deals to get to the summer’s best attractions.
Whether you’re looking to soak in the sun on the shores of Long Beach, head down a water slide at Splish Splash or take a scenic bike ride in Bethpage – the Railroad provides a convenient and comfortable, air-conditioned ride.
“Long Island has some of the most desirable beaches in the world.  And the LIRR can get you where you want to go while saving you time and money,” said LIRR President Patrick Nowakowski.
Only a short train ride from Penn Station, Brooklyn or Jamaica, Long Beach has the ambiance of a seaside resort with superb ocean swimming. The newly reopened 2.2 mile boardwalk invites bicycle riders, joggers and strollers.

The LIRR Station puts you just steps away from the beach and the boardwalk,” said Long Beach City Councilman Anthony Eramo.
