“Ring in” 2014 and “ring out” 2013 with Metro-North

On New Year’s Eve Day (Tuesday, December 31, 2013), we will operate a reduced weekday AM Peak schedule, an early afternoon getaway schedule and reduced PM Peak service. See our special Holiday Timetable for details, or visit our schedules page.

Our New Year’s Eve schedule will include extra late afternoon and early evening inbound service, as well as overnight New Year’s morning service. See our special Holiday Timetable for details, or visit our schedules page.

As in past years, those of you traveling home “early morning” (after midnight) on New Year’s Eve need to have your train tickets in advance. Tickets will be collected prior to boarding trains at Grand Central. (We ask that you please refrain from bringing open containers of alcohol on our trains. Consider the party officially over as you head to Grand Central.
