MetroCard and LIRR Deals for Mets Fans

The New York Mets and the MTA are teaming up this season to offer major discounts on tickets to Mets games on Tuesdays, beginning Tuesday, April 19 against the Houston Astros.

For fans taking the No. 7 train to the game, MetroCard customers can buy the special Tuesday tickets – either Value or Classic depending on the game date - online at www.mets.com, by phone at 718-507-TIXX, or in person at the Citi Field Advance Ticket Window inside the Jackie Robinson Rotunda when you mention "MetroCard." Fans traveling on the Long Island Rail Road to get to games can use the special code "L-I-R-R" to receive their discounted tickets.

Getting to Citi Field is easy. Take the No. 7 train to Mets-Willets Point station. Express service back to Manhattan will be available after weekday 7 p.m. games. For railroad customers, take LIRR from Penn Station or Woodside to the Willets Point LIRR Station. Metro-North riders can transfer for the No. 7 train at Grand Central.
