Open your account with $10 and never pay more than $56 month*, no matter how many rides you take. Your EasyPay account is automatically
refilled by credit/debit card. You
get a 5 percent bonus every time you add $5 or more to your card.
Whenever your balance goes below $10, your credit/debit card is charged to bring your balance up to the minimum.
There are no charges if you are not using your EasyPay MetroCard.
Reduced-Fare EasyPay statement information is available online at www.easypaymetrocard.com. You can also call the EasyPay Account Service Center at 1-877-323-RIDE (7433) to request a statement.
You must promptly review your statement and notify the account service center if you have questions regarding any charges. Charges not questioned within 120 days of fare posting will be deemed valid.
You may close your EasyPay account at any time and receive a refund of your current balance.
Express Bus Fares
Express bus fares are added to the total of your monthly rides but do not count
toward the $56 maximum charge per month for subway and local bus rides.
EasyPay MetroCard statements and other notices will be sent to you at the address you provide. You must inform us promptly of any change of address or payment information.
If you have a EasyPay MetroCard that is due to expire, we are in the process of automatically replacing your MetroCard and updating your account. You should expect to receive your new MetroCard one (1) week prior to the expiration date of your old MetroCard. If you have not received your replacement MetroCard by this date, please contact us as listed below.
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, except holidays
9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday
* One half (1/2) the current cost of a full-fare monthly Unlimited Ride MetroCard.
