The qualified candidate will conduct research identifying problems/areas of weaknesses pertaining to on-time-performance service delivery. The Office of Labor Relations is responsible for negotiating and enforcing
the various collective bargaining agreements that exists between management
and the union. During contract negotiations, the parties seek to reach agreement
on the terms and conditions of employment. Contract administration pertains
to resolving disputes, misinterpretations and misapplications of the rules,
policies and contract provisions. Within field operations, our aim is to
provide guidance and direction to location management regarding labor related
issues.
Responsibilities:
The day-to-day duties include using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Peoplesoft-EIS
to process administrative requests/ actions. In addition, you will be responsible
for creating a database to track and monitor discipline and contract disputes.
You may be called on to perform tasks associated with establishing systems
in ensure a smooth office work flow.
