S98 The last eastbound S98 bus from Richmond Terrace/Holland Av now leaves at 7:56 AM. The last westbound S98 bus from the St. George Ferry Terminal now leaves at 8:30 PM. New bus schedules will be available soon. Construction on Verrazano-Narrows Bridge June 2007 to Spring 2009 MTA Bridges and Tunnels is performing essential construction and rehabilitation work on the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. The project will take approximately twenty-one months and requires closing one Brooklyn-bound and one Staten Island-bound lane on the lower level at all times. You may encounter delays, so please allow additional travel time. As an alternative, you can take Staten Island Railway and the Staten Island Ferry for service to or from Manhattan. For service to or from Brooklyn, you can take the R train at Whitehall St/South Ferry, or the 4 5 trains at Bowling Green. There is now a convenient transfer between the S91 or S92 and the S48. S89Ltd More limited-stop, rush-hour service between Staten Island and Bayonne, NJ Effective Mon, Apr 7, 2008 S89 Limited-stop service is such a hit with our customers, we’ve added three more trips during rush hours. From Staten Island: The first limited-stop bus now leaves Hylan Blvd at 5:25 AM, another additional bus leaves at 7:03 AM. From New Jersey: We’ve added another trip from the Hudson Bergen Light Rail 34 St station at 5:02 PM.
