between Howard Beach-JFK Airport and the Rockaways

How will this affect my trip?
• Transfer between the Far Rockaway or Rockaway Park shuttle bus and the A train at Howard Beach.
• Far Rockaway shuttle buses run non-stop between Howard Beach and Far
Rockaway.
• Rockaway Park shuttle buses run between Howard Beach and Rockaway
Park, with a stop at Broad Channel.
At Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park, transfer to a shuttle train that will
make all stops between Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park: Beach 25, Beach 36,
Beach 44, Beach 60, Beach 67, Beach 90, Beach 98, and Beach 105 Sts.
To travel to Brooklyn and Manhattan
• Take the shuttle train to Rockaway Park or Far Rockaway and transfer to a shuttle bus to Howard Beach for A train service.
• From Broad Channel, take a shuttle bus to Howard Beach for A train service.
Why is service being changed?
We are replacing tracks to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the A line.
This service change affects one or more ADA accessible stations.

• Transfer between the shuttle bus and the A train at Jay St-Borough Hall or Utica Av.
• Transfer between the shuttle bus and the G train at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts or Fulton St.
• Transfer between the shuttle bus and the S shuttle train at Franklin Av station.

We are doing station work to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the A line.
Uptown trains skip 135 St

~~ For service from 135 St, take a downtown Aor C to 125 St and transfer to an uptown A or C..
Why is service being changed?
We are making station improvements to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the A or C lins.
Uptown trains skip 135, 155, and 163 Sts
Weekends, Dec 6 - 8, 13-15, 20-22, 12:01 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon
How does this affect my trip?
~~ For service to these stations, take the A to 145 or 168 Sts and transfer to a downtown A.
~~ For service from these stations, take a downtown A to 145 or 125 Sts and transfer to an uptown A.
Note: There are no C trains between 145 and 168 Sts during this time.
