Marine Parkway Bridge Closed Overnight: April 17-April 21 and April 24-26
Q35 Bus is Exception

The Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions during overnight hours from Monday, April 17 through Friday morning, April 21 and again from Monday, April 24 through Wednesday morning, April 26. All traffic will be detoured to the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. Schedule is as follows:

• Monday, April 17, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 5:00 AM.
• Tuesday, April 18, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 5:00 AM.
• Wednesday, April 19, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Thursday, April 20, 2017, 5:00 AM.
• Thursday, April 20, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Friday, April 21, 2017, 5:00 AM.
• Monday, April 24, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 5:00 AM.
• Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 10:00 PM thru Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 5:00 AM.

The necessary closures are needed in order to conduct a crane operation on both the South and North Towers. In addition, during the daytime hours one lane will be closed in both directions to accommodate the crane safety work zone.

Note: The exception is Q35 bus, which will maintain normal route under facility escort. Signs will be in place advising motorists of the closure and detour coming off the bridge.
