Scheduled maintenance work will result in overnight closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River Lift Span and the pedestrian walkway at Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge.
Work at the RFK Harlem River Lift Span will take place Friday, May 17 between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. The work will result in intermittent, full closures of the bridge in both directions for up to 15 minutes at a time. Motorists should expect delays and use an alternate route.
The pedestrian walkway at the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge will be closed each night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 24. Workers will be replacing 2,500-square-feet of protective overlay along the walkway.
