Buses Replace LIRR Trains Tomorrow Between Speonk and Montauk for Emergency Track Repair at Tuckahoe Road Crossing in Southampton
No Train Service from 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. So Allow Extra Travel Time

Buses will replace train service in both directions on the Montauk Branch between Speonk and Montauk tomorrow, Thursday, November 17, from 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. for emergency repair of the track at the Tuckahoe Road crossing in Southampton. The buses will replace three westbound trains and four eastbound trains, including two PM Peak trains.

Westbound

Customers traveling on trains departing from Montauk Station at 11:18 a.m., 2:51 a.m. and 10:38 p.m. will board buses up to 45 minutes earlier than scheduled train departure times for travel to Speonk where train service will resume to points east They will reach their destinations at normal arrival times.

Eastbound

Customers traveling on the following Montauk Branch trains - the 8:52 a.m. from Babylon, 11:31 a.m. from Jamaica, 4:30 p.m. from Hunterspoint and 6:17 p.m. from Jamaica will change at Speonk for a bus to stations Westhampton through Montauk. Expect up to 40 minutes of added travel time.
