MTA LIRR Oyster Bay Branch Affected by Track Work This Weekend, May 19-20

MTA Long Island Rail Road Oyster Bay Branch customers traveling to and from Oyster Bay Station will use vans for part of their trips this weekend, May 19 and May 20, as switch installation work is completed. The track between Locust Valley and Oyster Bay will be out of service from 1:05 AM, Saturday, May 19 through 1:04 AM, Monday, May 21.

Eastbound
Customers for Oyster Bay will board vans at the Locust Valley Station to complete their trips. Customers can expect increased travel time of eleven minutes.

Westbound
Customers will board vans at Oyster Bay at their regularly scheduled train times for Mineola where they will board trains to complete their trips. Customers can expect increased travel time of 16 minutes to Jamaica and eleven minutes to Penn Station. Customers on the 12:16 PM trains (both Saturday and Sunday) from Oyster Bay will board vans at Oyster Bay and transfer at Jamaica to trains. These customers can expect increased travel time of eight minutes to Jamaica, 19 minutes to Penn Station and 35 minutes to Brooklyn.
