MTA Long Island Rail Road workers will be replacing switches at a key interlocking in Wantagh over the next two weekends, a project that will result in track outages between Babylon and Freeport and schedule changes for trains on the Babylon, Montauk, Hempstead and Far Rockaway branches as well as trains stopping at St. Albans Station in Queens.
The LIRR advises customers to consult the Special Timetables with revised train schedules for each of those routes. The Special Timetables available at terminals and stations and on the MTA LIRR website at http://www.mta.info/lirr.
