Metro-North to Resume New Haven Line Service To/From Stamford; Harlem Line Extended to Wassaic

Metro-North Railroad crews are continuing to make progress restoring train service after a major winter storm dumped up to three feet of snow across the service territory. Service on the New Haven Line will resume between Grand Central and Stamford with the following first trains:

  • 1:37 PM from Grand Central to Stamford
  • 2:03 PM from Stamford to Grand Central

Service between Stamford and New Haven remains suspended until further notice. Service on the New Canaan, Danbury and Waterbury Branches remains suspended until further notice

Service on the Harlem Line is being extended to/from Wassaic. The first train is the 2:24 PM from Wassaic to Grand Central.

For Sunday (Feb. 10), Metro-North will operate a regular Sunday schedule on the entire Hudson and Harlem Lines and the New Haven Line between Stamford and GCT. Service remains suspended between Stamford and New Haven as well as on the branch lines, until further notice.

Many roads remain closed in Metro-North's service territory. Customers should and allow for additional travel time, and take extra precautions when traveling, particularly when entering and exiting trains, and on platforms and staircases.
