Track Work Planned on Two Railroad Bridges Over the Ramapo River
Port Jervis Line Busing Required For Four Weekends
MTA Metro-North Railroad will replace track timbers on two bridges over the Ramapo River near Tuxedo on the Port Jervis Line for the next four weekends beginning this Friday night.
A bus shuttle will be in operation from 11 PM Friday until 3:50 AM Monday to carry customers between Harriman and Ramsey/Route 17 for continued train service to and from Hoboken and Secaucus.
The last westbound train to operate through from Hoboken to Port Jervis without busing will be the 7:57 PM (7:43 PM from New York-Penn).
All customers will be subject to 20-40 minute delays, and customers on the following trains will be subject to 60 minute delays:
-     The 7:24 AM from Port Jervis
-     The 5:27 PM from Port Jervis
Finally the 4:04 PM from Hoboken (3:56 from New York-Penn) is canceled between Hoboken/Secaucus and Suffern. Customers will take the 4:25 PM to Suffern to connect with buses at Ramsey-Route 17, and arrive at New York State stations up to 75 minutes later than the normal train time.
Trains will not operate between Harriman and Suffern during the following weekends:
•     July 25-27
•     August 1-3
•     August 8-10
•     August 15-17
