Press Release

IMMEDIATE
SNOWSTORM UPDATE

New York City Transit:

Normal Sunday subway service is operating on or close to schedule, with two exceptions. N Subway Line Icon and Q Subway Line Icon trains are running local instead of express in Manhattan, and N Subway Line Icon and D Subway Line Icon trains are running local instead of express in Brooklyn, because underground express tracks are still being used for storage during yard cleaning.

Normal Sunday bus service is operating on or close to schedule, but there may be weather-related diversions or detours.

Long Island Rail Road:

Normal Sunday service is running on eight of the LIRR's 11 branches.

The Port Jefferson Branch is only running to Huntington. The Ronkonkoma Branch is only running to Ronkonkoma and has delays. The Montauk Branch is only running to Babylon. For Monday, LIRR will operate bus service from Ronkonkoma to Greenport. We will update later on other service plans for Monday morning.

Metro-North Railroad:

On the Hudson and Harlem lines, normal Sunday service is operating on schedule.

On the New Haven line, normal Sunday service to Stamford is operating on schedule. Service between Stamford and New Haven remains suspended until further notice, as well as on the three Connecticut branch lines.

Bridges and Tunnels:

All crossings are operating normally. Bridges and Tunnels has sent 12 plows and six wreckers to Suffolk County to help with recovery operations.
