Bus Shuttle Replaces L Service Overnight Between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street Due to Emergency Switch Work

Due to emergency track switch work between Lorimer Street and Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn, L Line Service will be suspended in both directions between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street in Brooklyn and there will be no L service to or from Manhattan between midnight tonight and 5 a.m. tomorrow (Wed.) A free substitute shuttle bus will operate between Broadway Junction and Lorimer Street. There will also be a free bus connection between the Lorimer Street L Station and the Marcy Street stop on the J Line and beefed up M14 bus service between the Union Square and the Essex Street stop on the J Line.

NYC Transit personnel will be on hand to offer customer information at the Union Square Station and each bus transfer point. Distinctive "Shuttle Bus Stops Here" signage will be posted along the shuttle bus route. Also, way-finding signage will be posted as needed in stations and along the streets.
