FASTRACK Returns to Queens on the E F M R
M / R Service Ends Early Each Night

On Monday, October 14, 2013, MTA New York City Transit brings FASTRACK back to Queens on the E Subway Line IconF Subway Line IconM Subway Line IconR Subway Line Icon Line.  There will be no E Subway Line Icon service between Roosevelt Av. and World Trade Center and no F Subway Line Icon service between Roosevelt Av. and 21 St-Queensbridge from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., for four consecutive weeknights from Monday, October 14 to early Friday morning, October 18.  M Subway Line Icon service ends early each night between Forest Hills-71 Av and Myrtle Av.  R Subway Line Icon service ends early each night between Forest Hills-71 Av and Whitehall St.

Customers can:

  • Take the 7 Subway Line Icon between Manhattan and 74 St/Roosevelt Av or Queensboro Plaza;
  • Take the N Subway Line Icon  between Manhattan and Queensboro Plaza;
  •  In Manhattan along 8 Av, take the A Subway Line Icon Local or C Subway Line Icon instead of the E Subway Line Icon.
  • Along 53 St, use the D Subway Line Icon or nearby 6 and N Subway Line Icon service instead.
  •  In Manhattan, transfer at 5 Av/42 St-Bryant Pk  7 Subway Line IconF Subway Line Icon, Times Sq-42 St/42 St-Port Authority 7 Subway Line IconA Subway Line Icon, and 34 St-Herald Sq F Subway Line IconN Subway Line Icon.
  • Take the R Subway Line Icon between Queens Plaza and 71 Av. When R Subway Line Icon service ends, E Subway Line Icon trains run local between Queens Plaza and 71 Av until 10 PM. After 10 PM, take the E Subway Line Icon Local between Roosevelt Av and 71 Av.
  • Free shuttle buses run LOCAL between Queensboro Plaza and 74 St/Roosevelt Av, making station stops at Queens Plaza, 36 St, Steinway St, 46 St, Northern Blvd, and 65 St.
  • In Queens, transfer between shuttle buses and trains at 74 St/Roosevelt Av 7 Subway Line IconE Subway Line IconF Subway Line Icon or Queensboro Plaza 7 Subway Line IconN Subway Line Icon.
