MTA NYCT Service Advisory: Overnight Service Changes Impact E F R on Queens Boulevard Line Starting After 10 p.m. Tonight

MTA New York City Transit will suspend service again starting after 10 p.m. tonight to remove the last four cars of the derailed F Subway train and continue repairs with the goal of restoring normal service in time for Monday morning's a.m. peak period. Free shuttle bus service will be available for customers at the affected stops between Queens Plaza and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and between 21 St-Queensbridge and Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av. Customers are urged to use the 7 Subway line as an alternate. The following service changes will remain in effect through at least 9 a.m. Sunday morning:

E Subway Line will run in two sections:

  • World Trade Center to Queens Plaza
  • Jackson Hts- Roosevelt Av. to Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer

F Subway Line will run in two sections:

  • Coney Island-Stillwell Av to 21St-Queensbridge
  • Jackson Hts- Roosevelt Avenue to Jamaica-179 St (F Subway service operates express between Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av and Forest Hills-71 Av)

R Subway trains will run between Bay Ridge-95 St and 57 St-7 Av in Manhattan.

MTA Long Island Rail Road is cross-honoring valid MetroCards between Penn Station and Jamaica Station.

Please allow for additional travel time on the affected subway lines and higher volume of customers on the LIRR.
